Out but not down

Barmby

Went to the Emirates Stadium last night to see Hull City take on Arsenal in the quarter finals of the FA Cup.

I think it's been 30 years since we've got this far in the Cup and the players played their hearts out. The away end errupted when local lad Nicky Barmby put Hull ahead. And it could have been two if Geovanni's shot hadn't been tipped over.

But you could see in the second half Arsenal started to show their class, first levelling before Gallas got the winner. (Though I've got to say I'm with Phil Brown on this - Gallas seemed to be off-side.)

Still, it shows how far we've come. I remember when we were fighting to stay in the Football League. Now we've won at Wembley in the play-offs, we're holding our own in the Premiership and got to the last eight in the FA Cup.

And as that old cliche goes...at least we can now concentrate on the league!

Great result for super city. Just show how a once famous side can get beaten by no hopers.

When's the next election John?

Yes Super City on the move watched it on Setanta a lot cheaper than travelling also not forgetting the Green issue.

Hull Port could be a Super Port if some of that felixstowe and other Southern Port freight was redirected also relieving some of freight from A1/M1
